The Celebration for the King’s Birthday was organized on December 3rd in Ban Mae Surin camp, Khun Yuam District, and on December 5th in Ban Mai Nai Soi District, Mae Hong Son Province, in which Government sector and NGOs participated in the official celebration led by the Deputy District Chief, to perform the lighting and blessing ceremony. Cultural performance made by refugee children and youth, exhibition and fair organized by NGOs to display their activities were also the highlights of the ceremony.

To celebrate the King’s Birthday which was also the Father’s Day, on December 5th, COERR Mae Hong Son organized the Agricultural and Livelihood Fair and Exhibition in both Ban Mai Nai Soi and Ban Mae Surin camps. Exhibition on Agriculture and Environment provided refugee participants with variety of plants for forest cultivation and some seeds for interested refugees to grow in their own garden.
